Lina Liu Nails&Lashes (LLNL) provides this website, including all information and services available to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all Terms of Use stated here. By visiting LLNL site and/ or purchasing from this site, you engage in this Term of Use which apply to all users of this site.

Booking an Appointment

When booking an appointment online, we need your name, phone number and email address. Without providing these details we will not be able to confirm your appointment. We use a 3rd party reservation software company to process your appointment. We may request an online deposit using a credit or debit card to secure a date and time. We use a 3rd party payment gateway to process this financial transaction. Where we don’t request an online deposit, we reserve the right to call you on the phone number provided and request a deposit. In the event this request is refused, we may remove your appointment from our schedule and you will receive an email communicating that the appointment will no longer be valid.

When you book an appointment, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy prior to confirmation. LLNL is not responsible for reservation errors including, but not limited to, dates/times and services booked. If you are unsure about anything you can contact us at hello@linaliu.co.uk.


We reserve the right to ask for a deposit for any booking made online, on the phone or in our salon for future dates. We reserve the right to determine the size of these deposits on a case by case basis entirely at our own discretion. The size of the deposit can be anywhere up to 100% of the sales value of the services booked. Deposits are non-refundable. If you change your appointment less than 48 hours before start time we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and keep your deposit. If you cancel booking at any time less than 48 hours of the start time you will lose your deposit. We will require 48 hours in order to change or cancel the booking and deposits are calculated according to each treatment.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments cancelled or moved at short notice are hard for us to fill. So we have a cancellation & rearrangement policy at the salon.

More than 48 hrs notice = no charge
Less than 48 hrs notice = loss deposit
Less than 24 hrs notice = 50% charge
No shows = 100% charge

Age Restrictions 

We are unable to carry out Gel polish treatments on anyone under the age of 14 and we do not apply acrylic/gel extensions or tinting service to anyone under 16 years.

14 to 16 year old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the service. The parent or guardian must fill in our permission and consultation forms. All under 18s will require signed permission from a parent or legal guardian.

On your first visit we will ask you to complete a short questionnaire on your health which we will keep securely on file. This is to ensure that our treatments are suitable for you, do not affect your health or wellbeing and any medications you may take. ID will be required if we feel it is needed to meet any of the age restrictions mentioned. If ID can not be submitted, we will not be able to perform the service at that time. Services can then be booked for another time when ID can be provided. The ID must be a standard government issue with holographic mark such as a passport or a driving license.

If an appointment has been booked online, but you can not give confirmation of your age if required to do so prior to your service, your service will be rejected and we reserve the right to charge you the amount remaining of your booking balance by way of your online payment method.

Gel Polish

Gel Polish should last approximately 14 days. We recommend that you don’t wear them for longer than 14 days. We have a 4 day repair policy, if your gel polish chips within 4 days we will fix it for free, anything after this will cost £2 per nail. We will fix 3-4 nails within 21 days otherwise we will recommend a full removal and a full set at your expense.

Normal Nail Polish

The length of time the polish lasts for depends on the nails and how you care for your hands, so for important events we do recommend gel polish. Please bring open toed shoes if you are having a regular polish pedicure so you don’t ruin your newly painted nails. Please allow 10 minutes for drying time after your appointment. 

Treatment Duration

The number of minutes we have listed below to each service on the website and any other places is a guidance only. The service may last longer or shorter depending on factors including, but not limited to, the conditions of your nails and ability of your nail technician or beautician.

Modifications & Extra – Time

We may charge you extra time by the minute for any modifications you request to your service once the service has commenced and the modification affects part of the service already performed. Modifications include:

  • Colour changes during a service after the chosen colour has been applied.
  • Nail art removal after application because you do not like it.

We may from time to time assist you with advice and suggestions, but decisions you make are wholly your final decision. Extra time will be charged at a rate of £1 per minute.

We will endeavour to accommodate all modification requests, but modification requests may be denied if we are booked back to back and the time required for the modification affects the service of the next customer. In this scenario we will complete the service as booked and you will be charged the booked price.

Aftercare Service

We offer clients appropriate aftercare advise in the bottom right of LLNL’s web homepage. In the event you chip your nails within 7 days, please report this with a photo to hello@linaliu.co.uk and we will offer you a free touch-up on the effected nails within 14 days. Outside this period, please refer to price list. Repairs cover chips, cracks, discolouration, gel shrinkage, lost nails etc. If 4 or more nails are damaged we will have to replace with a full set.

Lost Property

We ask clients to look after their property while at LLNL as we are unable to take responsibility of items left unattended. 

Patch Tests

Tinting and lash extensions services require a patch test 24 hours prior to your first treatment; this is for your safety. Providing no adverse reactions take place, we will be happy to treat you safely. Please let us know if you have overly sensitive skin or any specific allergies that may be affected by our treatments or products. We can then arrange a patch test for you to make sure you are being treated safely. We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose any medications or condition that may affect your treatment. Please inform your therapist or technician of any changes in your health on subsequent visits. If you are unsure of being able to have a particular treatment, please inform us 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Complaints, Fixes and Repairs

You can complain about your service, service standard or anything else affecting your experience either to the salon manager, by email on hello@linaliu.co.uk or via our telephone number.

We will repair any damage to gel or acrylic services for free within 7 days of your appointment. We will however not repair damage for free if the damage has been caused by activities that have not followed our aftercare advice. Our aftercare advice can be found on our web pages. We reserve the right to use our own discretion to decide whether the damage was caused by any activities that are likely to cause nail damage and are contrary to our aftercare advice. In this situation, we will charge a rate of £3 per nail for gel polish repairs and £4 per nail for hard gel & acrylic nail extension and gel overlay repairs. Your date and time will need to be booked via email or phone and a price given for the repair.

Normal polish services have no guarantee from the time you leave LLNL. You can find our aftercare advice on our services web pages and from our technicians on how to avoid smudging after you leave the salon. We take no responsibility if this advice is not followed.

If you are unhappy with your colour or nail art, this is not covered as a free repair job. Please be advised you can mention this to your technician during your service but this may be charged at our standard ‘extra time’ rate.

Fixes need to be booked in and there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate a fix if you complain in the salon. In this scenario, we will accommodate you at the next best convenient time for you. You are advised to book the time via email or phone to guarantee your fix time.

If you are complaining about the general standard of your service, you are welcome to attach photos to an email to provide clear evidence for our management. We may ask you for more information to help us finalise a response to your complaint. Once we receive this information, our responses will be including, but not limited to, an offer of a new service to no new service. The response you receive will be decided on a case by case basis, taking into account all the information provided by you, and will be entirely at our own discretion.


You may receive an email after you complete a service asking to leave us a review. The link will be to the 3rd party website Google. The review will be stored on their servers subject to their terms and conditions. If you choose to do so, you agree that Google can publish your review and only your first name will be revealed. However, LLNL takes no responsibility for any wording by you in the review that might reveal your identity.

Gift Cards Terms of Use


The value of a gift card is equivalent to its purchase value and can be treated as cash.


Gift Cards may be redeemed towards the transaction value of all services and products in LLNL. Using Gift Cards to have treatment on Monday will receive 10% off on the day for all treatments worth the value of the gift cards. If paying with a Gift Card you must give details at time of booking. Gift Card must be presented at reception upon arrival for the booked treatment. Failure to attend an appointment will result in full or partial payment for your visit to be deducted from your Gift Card. We will however honour the remaining balance of the Gift Card for future use.

In order to redeem Gift Cards against services, new customers must be prepared to sign our consultation form and all customers must be prepared to comply with the terms of use of LLNL. The Gift Cards can be used anytime while salon is open. If the transaction value exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. If the transaction value is less than the value of the Gift Card, the remaining amount can be used to services for another time or purchase products at LLNL. No fees or charges apply to Gift Cards. Gift Cards are valid only for users who are 16 years of age or older.


Gift Cards will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Gift Cards may be purchased in values of £20, £50 or £100, or other such values LLNL may determine. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards may not be exchanged for cash, reloaded or resold in any circumstances.

Risk of Loss

Gift Cards cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. LLNL will not accept liability if a Gift Cards is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission. LLNL will not accept liability for, and assumes no liability to you for, any unlawful conduct or fraud by any third party associated with any Gift Cards.

Change of Terms

LLNL reserves the right to change these Gift Cards terms of use from time to time in its discretion and without prior notice to you. LLNL reserves the right to withdraw Gift Cards at any time and for any reason. LLNL will then use reasonable effort to make arrangements for Gift Cards to continue to be accepted for a reasonable period of time after withdrawal.

Loyalty Card Terms of Use


You must give LLNL your loyalty card when paying for a qualifying service to claim a loyalty stamp. There is no guarantee we will give you a stamp at a later date if you fail to give us your loyalty card when completing your purchase.


To claim a £5 off discount, you must acquire 5 loyalty stamps. You can claim the loyalty discount for the service that gives you your 5th stamp. We will subtract £5 off from the purchase price for the qualifying service.


Collect a stamp for each individual service that costs £20 or more. A stamp can’t be given when you’re claiming any other promotional offer or discount.

Risk of Loss

LLNL will not accept liability if a loyalty card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.

Change of Terms

LLNL the right to change these loyalty card terms and conditions from time to time in its discretion and without prior notice to you. LLNL reserves the right to withdraw loyalty cards at any time and for any reason.

Email Offers Terms of Use

Refer a Friend (Referrer)

You can refer as many friends as you like to LLNL. A referral is considered to be third party person, a existing client who signs up for LLNL email marketing, buys a service and shows us a refer a friend email with full name that has been forwarded. After the referred friend buys a service from LLNL, you will then receive a 15% off of your next visit at LLNL. A referrer discount can be used against one service only. If you have multiple services on the same visit then a referrer discount can be used against the most expensive service. A referrer discount can only be used once. For as long as you remain signed up to LLNL marketing emails, you will be eligible to refer friends to LLNL. A referrer discount can not be used by other people. We reserve the right to check and record the details of the ‘to’ field of the email before accepting refer a friend discount.

Refer a Friend (Referred)

To claim a refer a friend discount you must sign up for LLNL email marketing, buy a service and show us a refer a friend email with full name that has been forwarded from an existing client. You will then receive a 15% discount against a service for your first visit at LLNL. A refer a friend discount can only be used once and against one service only. If you have multiple services on the same visit then the refer a friend discount can be used against the most expensive service. We reserve the right to check and record the details of the ‘to’ field of the email.


For as long as you remain signed up to LLNL email marketing, you will be eligible to receive special offers for products and services in LLNL. We reserve the right to determine these offers and change them at any time.

Change of Terms

LLNL reserve the right to change any and all benefits of email promotions at our own discretion and without prior notice to you. We reserve the right to discontinue any part of our email promotions at our own discretion.


LLNL website server, and servers of companies that are used to operate this site, may place cookies on your computer in order to personalise your experience and record website behaviour. A “cookie” is a small piece of data is sent by a web server to your computer, which is then stored by your browser.

Keeping the data we collect from you safe, secure and private is very important to us. This privacy policy explains how we, Lina Liu Nails&Lashes (LLNL), collect, use and protect any information about you when you use or interact with our website or visit us. This policy explains in detail how we ensure your data remains private when you fill in our online appointment forms, fill in our in-salon consultation forms and sign up to our marketing communications. Change the Terms of Use

LLNL reserve the right to amend Terms of use as and when it is considered necessary to do so. LLNL reserves the right to change these terms of use at our own discretion and without prior notice to you, and without liability to you or any other user. This right shall not affect the terms of use accepted by you upon making a booking reservation using this website.
