Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which brow treatment is right for me?

The most suitable treatment depends on your natural brow hair, skin type and desired finish. Microblading and Nano Machine Brows create natural-looking hairstrokes, while Powder / Ombré Brows offer a soft, shaded effect. Combination Brows add fullness and definition through hairstrokes and shading. During your consultation, we will assess your brows and recommend the most suitable approach.

What is the difference between Microblading and Nano Machine Brows?

Both techniques create hairstrokes that resemble natural eyebrow hairs. Microblading uses a manual hand tool, while Nano Machine Brows use a digital machine with a very fine needle. The best option depends on your skin type, existing brow hair and desired result.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Brow permanent makeup commonly lasts around 18–36 months, although results vary with skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and skincare. Hairstroke results may soften sooner than shaded brows. A colour boost can help refresh the look as pigment fades.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

You may feel some discomfort, often described as light scratching or pressure. A suitable numbing product may be used where appropriate to help make the treatment more comfortable. Sensitivity varies from person to person.

How long do brows take to heal?

Initial surface healing usually takes around 7–10 days. Brows may look darker at first, then lighter or slightly uneven as small flakes fall away naturally. The colour generally continues to settle over approximately 4–6 weeks.

Is a top-up required?

A top-up may be recommended around 6–8 weeks after the first treatment to refine the colour or shape. Complimentary top-ups are included only with selected treatment packages; other appointments may incur an additional charge. We will confirm what is included in your booking.

Can I have new permanent makeup over existing brow tattooing?

Often, yes, but this depends on the existing colour, shape, saturation and skin condition. Heavily saturated or dark previous work may need assessment, correction or lightening first. Please book a consultation so we can advise you.

What aftercare is required following my brow treatment?

Keep the treated area clean, avoid rubbing or picking, and allow small flakes to fall away naturally. Avoid swimming, saunas, excessive sweating and makeup directly on the brows during initial healing. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions following your appointment.
