Which eyeliner treatment is right for me?
Lash Line Enhancement creates subtle definition at the roots of the lashes. Classic Eyeliner gives a more noticeable, timeless line, while Signature Winged Eyeliner adds a tailored wing. We will recommend a style based on your eye shape, skin and desired result.
Does permanent eyeliner hurt?
The eyelid area is sensitive, so some discomfort is possible. We use an appropriate treatment approach and explain what to expect before starting. Individual sensitivity varies; please tell us about any concerns during your consultation.
How long does permanent eyeliner take to heal?
Mild swelling, tenderness and dryness may occur during the first few days. Surface healing usually takes around 7–14 days, while the colour continues to settle over approximately 4–6 weeks. Healing varies from person to person.
Will my eyeliner look darker straight after treatment?
Yes. The colour often looks stronger immediately after treatment and may soften as the skin heals. Do not pick at any flakes or crusts; the healed result is assessed after the colour has settled.
How long does permanent eyeliner last?
Results often remain visible for around 18–36 months, but longevity varies with skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and individual colour retention. A future colour refresh may be needed.
Can I wear eye makeup or contact lenses after treatment?
Avoid eye makeup on the treated area until it has healed. Do not wear contact lenses while your eyes are irritated or uncomfortable; follow your practitioner’s specific aftercare advice and any advice from your optician. Avoid rubbing or picking the eyelids.
Is permanent eyeliner safe, and who should check before booking?
Permanent eyeliner is performed close to the eyes and carries risks, including irritation, infection and allergic reactions. We use hygienic procedures and assess suitability before treatment. Please tell us about eye conditions, recent eye surgery, current irritation, allergies, medications or previous eyeliner tattooing. If you have an active eye infection or unexplained symptoms, postpone treatment and seek medical advice.
Aftercare

Your eyelids may feel slightly tender or swollen after treatment. Keep the area clean, avoid rubbing or picking, and allow any light flaking to shed naturally. A clean, cool compress may help with swelling if used gently and without pressure. Avoid eye makeup, swimming and other activities that may irritate the area during initial healing. We will provide full, treatment-specific aftercare instructions at your appointment.
